ABOUT ME

Lilia Convit

MY STORY

I have a Bachelor degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a second Bachelor degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences, with a Major in Sports Physiology. I also completed a Post Graduate diploma in Sports Nutrition from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and a Level III Accreditation as Anthropometrist from the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK)

Even before completing my Bachelor Degree, I had the opportunity to work in Sports Nutrition: this was together with my professor and mentor Pedro Reinaldo Garcia, who inspired me to fulfil my dreams in this interesting area. Pedro also gave me the opportunity to become one of the first female Dietitians working for the ‘Caracas Futbol Club’, as well as other teams such as ‘Deportivo Lara’, ‘Deportivo Petare’ and well known companies like Chevron, Empresas Polar, Plumrose and GSSI, just to name few.

In 2012 I moved to Australia, where I started to work as a Sport Dietitian and Lecturer for young athletes who were part of a well-known Sports Academy program in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

After a year, I decided to become the Mother of two beautiful children. Since then, I have been running my private practice while raising my family together with my husband.

In 2019, I completed a second career in Exercise and Sports Science at Deakin University – ranked as the “world’s best Nutrition and Sciences School” according to the Academy Ranking of World Universities (ARWU).

I can help patients with acute health conditions, as well as healthy individuals who want to improve their nutrition and fitness levels.
